Youth Ministries

The WPC youth group exists to glorify God by equipping students to know, understand and obey His Word, depending on the Holy Spirit to transform them more into the image of Jesus Christ. This transformation will be evidenced by growth in Communion, Community and the Commission.

Communion - Seeking Intimacy with Christ through worship

•Philippians 3:8 “More than that, I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them but rubbish so that I may gain Christ.”

Community - Extending Christ's love to those around us

•Hebrews 10:24-35 “And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.”

Commission - Participating in the mission of God

•Matthew 28:18-20 “And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Westminster Presbyterian Church has a long history of student ministry. WPC values young lives and seeks to assist parents in spiritually guiding them towards a growing relationship with Jesus Christ; our primary goal is discipleship. We also love to have fun! We do all sorts of activities throughout the year, play fun games and join together for retreats and mission trips.
